Ace filmmaker Sukumar made a debut as a producer in 2015 with the film Kumari 21 F. The film ended as a big hit and he is back with a second movie with his brother’s son Ashok Bandreddi as a hero, directed by Jakka Hari Prasad.

Mahesh(Ashok) is an aspiring film director who always dreams of making a new age love story. Somehow, he gets a chance to direct a film and kick starts its shoot. The actual story begins when he falls for a costume designer called Namratha (Eesha Rebba ). What problems does his love story create to his film? Will he finish the film in time? That forms the rest of the story.

Darsakudu Review:

Director Jakka Hari Prasad came up with an interesting story line but he was unable to present it on screen. Lack of good screen play makes it an average movie. Some of the positive points on this movie are the hero characterization, story written around the hero character, heroin Eesha Rebba’s performance, and some good comedy scenes.

The first half of the film is okay with some passable scenes between the lead pair. Upcoming comedian Sudarshan as hero’s friend is okay and his comedy timing brings a few laughs. The interval scene is interesting. The second half of the film runs on a flat note without any high moment in it. Though the climax of the film has some emotional scenes but it lacks a proper depth and purpose in it.

Editing is okay as the film’s run time is short and crispy. Music and Cinematography has nothing to add to the movie success. On the whole “Darsakudu” is just an average movie which lacks good screenplay and emotions.
