Rana Daggubati will produce actor Naga Chaitanya’s next film. This film will be produced through Daggubati’s home banner. The project was originally meant to be produced by Rana’s father, Suresh Babu, through his Suresh Productions. For reasons unknown, the film is now being developed under Daggubati’s Spirit Media.

Rana Daggubati is by no means a stranger to film production. His grandfather, Daggubati Ramanaidu, holds a Guinness World Record for having produced more than 150 films in 13 Indian languages.

Rana has already produced a National Award-winning children’s film Bommalata with his good friend Prakash Kovelamudi as director, under his banner Spirit Media.

As per source, Naga Chaitanya was supposed to work with Suresh Productions, but the same project is now being produced by Rana and directed by Krishna RV Marimuthu.

Meanwhile, Rana’s first-look poster from his upcoming Ghazi has been unveiled — and is creating a huge buzz. This film is being simultaneously made in Hindi and Telugu and will be dubbed in Tamil. It will be partially based on his own book Blue Fish. The film is based on the true incidents on the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi, a Pakistan Submarine by destroyer INS Rajput (D141) during the Bangladesh Liberation war. PVP Cinema is producing the film. Karan Johar will distribute Ghazi Hindi version. The music is composed by Krishna Kumar. Visual Effects handled by Eva Motion Studios.
