With back to back successes of his commercial films at the box office, Sharwanand is totally concentrating on commercial films. He is again back with a commercial entertainer called Radha which has released on May 12th 2017. Let’s see whether this movie can bring him success again or not.
To become a police officer is the only aim of Radha Krishna(Sharwananad) from his childhood. He becomes a fun-loving cop who goes to any extent to serve the department. Upon his request, he gets transferred to Hyderabad. He targets the CM candidate Sujatha(Ravi Kissan). Why Radha targets Sujatha? How he takes revenge on powerful politician Sujatha?
Radha is an out and out commercial entertainer. plus points of Radha is undoubtedly Sharwa’s performance and comedy track between Sharwanand and Shakalaka Shankar. The first half of the film filled with characters introduction, comedy, love track between hero and heroin. The real story of the film only starts in the second half of the film, so audience will feel the first half of the film little boring. Ravi Kishan plays a role similar to his Race Gurram character, he does full justice to his part. Sharwanand has done justice to his role.
The story of the film is quite old with routine love and comedy scenes. It is just to showcase the hero in a mass angle. Once the twist is revealed during the second half, the last 15 minutes are quite predictable and routine. Director Chandra earned only average marks with this routine commercial entertainer. It would be better if he has worked more on screenplay and storyline.
Production values are good, Radhan’s music has an average impact on the movie. Editing is just about okay and so was the camera work. Overall, Radha is only for those who likes routine commercial entertainers.
