With two big-ticket films – Khaidi No. 150 and Gautamiputra Satakarni – slated for release simultaneously on the eve of Sankranti festival. Since both the films are prestigious films – Chiru’s 150 & Balayya’s 100 – in the stars’ career, tempers have flared up. Taking note of the situation, AP DGP Sambasiva Rao has reviewed the situation and directed officials to take precautionary measure to avoid any untoward incidents.

DGP also said police personnel to constantly monitor the situation and asked him to update. Meanwhile, cops have cautioned fan’s groups on the situation and told not to do any provoking acts such as removing flexis or banners or cutouts of rival heroes. Local police have informed fans groups that those who break peace would be put behind the bars and issued stern measures.

Andhra region is known for extreme reactions of the fans’ associations whenever the films of their favorite heroes are released. That is why the police are taking double precautions.
